PRIMARY IMPACT:
Provides standard administrative, technical, or production services or information that support others, and/or organizes data and information that is used and analyzed by others.
DUTIES:*
1. Enter data into computer mainframe systems or PC databases. Check accuracy of data.
2. Retrieve data and/or produce various reports based on types of data requested.
3. Develop/maintain/update/delete various computerized files, programs, etc. Research/respond to various error messages, problems, etc.
4. May process various departmental, college, or district forms. May distribute reports, forms, etc.
5. May train or oversee the work of workstudy students or other temporary employees involved in data entry or general clerical activities.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of computer mainframe systems and PC databases.
Skills in data entry, 10-key, and keyboarding of 40 wpm. Must be accurate and detail-oriented.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Six months to one year.
Preferred: One to two years.
Specifically, the position requires six months of data entry experience;
one or more years of experience preferred.
