Text Box: ATTENTION HIRING MANAGERS: The Department of Homeland Security has completed the final revisions to the I-9 (employment authorization) form.  Effective Friday, April 3, 2009, hiring officials must use this form for all new hires.
Key changes to be aware of:
1. Expired forms of identification will no longer be accepted.
2. Changes in the acceptable documents (Please review the updated form). Hiring officials are responsible to know the list of acceptable documents and to educate anyone assisting in the I-9 process.

Again, the revised I-9 form must be used for all new hires and rehires, to include adjunct faculty, part-time employees and Federal Work Studies.  Your continued assistance on this matter is vital in ensuring that ACCD complies with federal law.

Failure to submit the updated form will result in delayed processing of your hiring packet.
