PRIMARY IMPACT:
Completes assigned tasks as requested.
DUTIES:*
1. Enter data on computer mainframe system. Confirm accuracy of data such as course numbers, days, dates, times, locations, and instructors.
2. Process various forms. Input data such as students’ name, social security number, address, phone number, and date of birth on mainframe computer system.
3. May process class labels for registration, registration transfers and refunds, class cancellations. Ensure accuracy of data.
4. Perform general clerical duties such as typing, answering phones, etc.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of computer mainframe software and CRT terminal operation.
Must have 40 wpm typing, ten-key by touch, and be detail-oriented.
Ability to concentrate on projects with numerous interruptions.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EDUCATION
Minimum: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Preferred: A formal training program after high school of approximately one year in duration.
Specifically, the position highly prefers courses in keyboarding/data entry.
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Three to six months.
Preferred: Six months to one year.
Specifically, the position requires a minimum of three months of general
office experience to include data entry/retrieval. Course-related
practicum may be considered in lieu of paid work experience.
