PRIMARY IMPACT:
Provides standard administrative, technical, or production services or information that support others, and/or organizes data and information that is used and analyzed by others.
DUTIES:*
1. Assess residency classifications, foreign and domestic, to ensure correct interpretations of the rules and regulations.
2. Evaluate/review transcripts from high schools, colleges, and universities for admission to the college.
3. Solve problems and conflicts so the student can continue the registration process.
4. Review applications for proper coding for contact-hour reimbursement and auditors.
5. Data enter student and course information.
6. Assist students in registration traffic flow.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Extensive knowledge of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s residency rules and regulations; ACCD policies; mainframe computer system.
Able to operate a personal computer; communicate effectively with students and ACCD personnel; maintain effective work relations with all employees and the general public.

Minimum: Six months to one year.
Preferred: One to two years.
Specifically, the position requires at least six months of related experience, preferably in an education setting.
