PRIMARY IMPACT:

Provides analytic/diagnostic services or uses highest level technical skills which noticeably affect work results.

DUTIES:*

1. Tutor individuals by asking/answering questions and demonstrating examples related to subject.

2. Process students to assure that individuals are ACCD students and to determine the nature of their visit.

3. Monitor computer lab to make certain students’ activities are within posted guidelines.

4. Direct students to proper facilities (lab or tutoring appointments).

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Skills in verbal communication to convey knowledge of subject matter to students in need.

JOB EMPOWERMENT

Tutors must have an overall GPA of at least 2.75 and must have taken the course which he/she is tutoring (or higher-level course) with a grade of “B” or better.  Must have at least 3 points from the education and/or experience tables.
