PRIMARY IMPACT:
Provides standard administrative, technical, or production services or information that support others, and/or organizes data and information that is used and analyzed by others.
DUTIES:*
1. Assist with annual pledge drive to include promotion, scripting, data entry, record keeping, and securing guest hosts.
2. Handle RCS (automated master control) administration to include running logs, scheduling underwriting, and hot key management.
3. Handle audio production to include underwriting, promos, and bumper announcements.
4. Promote and schedule radio station events.
5. Print program logs, play lists, discrepancy sheets; take messages; handle faxes and emails.
6. Train announcers; assign and maintain air shifts; handle conflict resolution.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.
Organizational and management skills; skills in public relations and verbal communication. Computer skills including Windows, office applications, RCS, RCS Selector, Linker Pro Tools, digital audio software, Quickbooks; skills with radio equipment including microphones, audio mix board, and studio audio board.
Ability to write, record, and perform audio productions.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EDUCATION
Minimum: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Preferred: A formal training program after high school of approximately one year in duration.
Specifically, the position requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus completion of the college courses COMM 1307, COMM 2303, and FTVB 1150 with a grade of C or better.
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum: No experience necessary.
Preferred: Six months to one year.
Specifically, the position requires the student to be in good academic standing, currently enrolled in at least 6 hours, and be an RTVB or COMM major.
