PRIMARY IMPACT:
Takes a leadership role in the provision of complex administrative, technical, or production services, or crime prevention.
DUTIES:*
1. Supervise the daily operations of the kennel and employees.
2. Assist in the selection, training, and evaluation of kennel attendants.
3. Prepare employee schedules and daily assignments.
4. Maintain and order animal care equipment and supplies.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of animals and principles of animal care.
Leadership skills.
Ability to communicate well with faculty, staff, and students. Ability to lift 40 lbs.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EDUCATION
Minimum: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Preferred: An Associate's degree or equivalent.
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Three to four years.
Preferred: Three to four years.
Specifically, the position requires a minimum of three years of animal care experience to include one year of experience as a supervisor or lead.
