PRIMARY IMPACT:
Provides standard administrative, technical, or production services or information that support others, and/or organizes data and information that is used and analyzed by others.
DUTIES:*
1. Assist in all-day orientation classes.
2. Greet students; direct to proper seating; serve as their liaison to staff and faculty.
3. Maintain positive outlook, positive responses to questions, and a “can do” attitude with all requests.
4. Maintain attendance, assignment, and grade records for designated students.
5. Serve as general information and referral source for new students.
6. Facilitate a small group of new students in discussions and relationship development.
7. Proctor exams and/or quizzes.
8. Conduct comprehensive walking introduction to the campus.
9. Distribute all student materials such as folders, catalogs, assignments, etc.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of campus and resources.
Above average interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable addressing groups; good organizational skills; basic computer/keyboarding skills; dependable and punctual.
Strong ability to work as part of a team; handle stressful situations; have energy and stamina and a neat, clean appearance as representative of the college.

Preferred: One week to one month.
