PRIMARY IMPACT:
Provides standard administrative, technical, or production services or information that support others, and/or organizes data and information that is used and analyzed by others.
DUTIES:*
1. Coordinate and provide on-site management of special events; act as ACCD contact for rental parties; oversee building and equipment usage following policies and procedures.
2. Organize and give direction to custodial staff and campus police for special events.
3. Maintain log of events.
4. Supervise the set up and tear down of equipment and furniture used in special events including the cleaning of equipment and furniture.
5. Ensure temporary food establishments follow proper procedures and have the appropriate permits.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of custodial services/duties; facility layout and available equipment; security alarm and air conditioning systems; building use regulations; extra fee charges.
Skills in supervision, organization, and communication.
Ability to enforce District/College policies and procedures; move furniture/equipment; inspect the facility/grounds; work independently; exercise discretion and judgment; and lift 25 lbs.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EDUCATION
Minimum: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Preferred: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Three to six months.
Preferred: Six months to one year.
Specifically, the position requires 3 months of experience working at rental events preferably with supervisory experience in custodial or facility maintenance related areas.
