| San Antonio College President's Holiday Card Design Scholarship Competition |
- Design the holiday card invitation for the San Antonio College "President's Annual Holiday gathering," scheduled for early December .
- The competition is open to all students.
- A scholarship of $500 for the 2009-2010 academic year) will be awarded to the winning entry.
- Obtain entry forms from President's office , FAC 323
- Applications must be complete and must be submitted by the Friday, October 16,2009.
- Multiple entries will be accepted.

Child Care Scholarship |
- Be enrolled in a Professional and Technical Degree Program at SAC.
- Be a single parent.
- Demonstrate financial need (Pell Grant, Lone Star Card, WIC, etc.)
- Be in good academic standing (overall GPA 2.0 minimum)
- Maintain enrollment of at least 9 credit hours for Fall and Spring (Flex 6 credit hours).
- Commit to attend monthly parenting workshops.
- Participate in a minimum of one community/department event per semester .
- Eligible students may pick up an application at the Empowerment Center on the corner of Evergreen and Howard Street.

| Ladies Auxilary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Department of Texas |
- First place is $2000 and a trip to the VFW State Convention in June 2010 at the DFW Hyatt in Dallas
- Second place is $1500
- Third place is $1000.
