Medical Administration
& Technology Support Institute

Take classes in a friendly, non-competitive environment to learn just what you need to complete that project or qualify for that promotion. Learning about computer skills and overcoming the fear of computers can be accomplished easily by taking courses at the Computer Training Institute. Once you're comfortable with the basics, you may choose to pursue additional classes designed to develop specific skills in a range of software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, accounting, medical software and other applications. Our Medical Coding Program will prepare you to become proficient in medical coding and be able to take the CCS exam.

Our program consists of 4 classes:

  1. Classification systems- introduction into coding –cost of class $170.00 for 48 hours of instruction
  2. Reimbursement methods- coding as it relates to reimbursements—cost of class $170.00 for 48 hours of instruction
  3. Advanced Medical Coding- specializing in outpatient and radiology—cost of class $117.50 for 33 hours of instruction
  4. Exam review- prepares the student to be knowledgeable of the CCS exam, its format, and requirements—cost of class $86.00-for 24 hours of instruction

Our classes are held in the evenings from 6-9pm usually on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.

Our only prerequisites are:  Medical Terminology class (only if you have not worked in the Medical field recently), good keyboarding skills and knowledge of MS Word.

Cost of textbooks:  $222.00 for 4 coding books that come together in a plastic wrap.

This program is very popular and registration may be closed due to full classes.  Register early.
