Scobee Planetarium at San Antonio College

Location of the Scobee Planetarium

• The Scobee Planetarium is situated near the center of the San Antonio College campus.
• Visitors should turn East off of San Pedro Avenue onto West Park Avenue.
• Once on West Park Avenue, look for the Faculty and Staff parking lot.
• Turning into that lot, the Planetarium's aluminum-gray colored dome will be directly in view.
• School buses should park in the assigned bus lane near the Planetarium.

The Scobee Planetarium is located one block to the east of San Pedro off of West Park Avenue. The SAC campus address is 1300 San Pedro, but note, this encompasses several blocks.

Caution - The red brick dome of Temple Bethel, located about 3 blocks to our north, is often mistaken for the dome of the Scobee Planetarium.

As a reminder, schools groups should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled show time. Groups arriving late or after their program has begun are not admitted .

Visitors to our Friday night public shows may park anywhere, as classes are no longer in session.
