SAC GRADUATE COURSE TUITION ASSISTANCE

Funding Available
  • ALL applicants who meet the conditions of the APPLICATION PROCESS above WILL receive some amount of tuition assistance based on the following method.
  • An equal amount will be budgeted for each funding period (Fall, Spring and Summer).
  • The amount for each funding period will be divided by the number of qualified applicants for that period. For example, if there is $2000 budgeted for each period and there are 20 applicants for each period, then each applicant will be funded $100.
Note

 1) Funding assistance is limited to one course per funding period.
 2) Faculty may also apply for funding assistance from the ACCD Upward Mobility Tuition Assistance Program, but this program will deduct any amount funded from SAC from total amount awarded by Upward Mobility

Application Process
  • Applicants must be Full Time SAC Faculty Member (Includes F T Temporary Instructors)
  • *Applicants must submit two documents to be considered for approval:

    1. COPY of Official College *COURSE APPROVAL FORM (See Department Chair) with all signatures of approval. (Indicate estimated date of completion on copy of form.)

  • Note

    If you are intending to take a course for credit toward advancement in class or rank, this form must be processed and proved by your Chair, Dean and Executive Vice President PRIOR to BEING ENROLLED IN THE COURSE. If this approval has not been obtained, then credit toward advancement in class or rank will not be granted by the EVP. 96 C E units equal one 3 hour course.

2. COPY of Official **ENROLLMENT RECEIPT.

     ** NOTE: Receipt MUST include: the amount paid, your name, institution, course title and # that correspond to the course listed on COURSE APPROVAL form .
Applicants must submit the above must submit two documents by the declared deadline for each funding period (Fall, Spring and Summer).
APPLY DURING THE PERIOD YOUR ARE TAKING A COURSE

SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING
         1) Signed Course Approval Form and
         2) Official Enrolment Receipt
    The above two documents serve as your application as them contain
     all the information that is needed.<



DEADLINES:        Fall  November 15          Spring March 27          Summer  July 8
