FOR LEARNERS OF ENGLISH, THE ESOL PROGRAM AT SAN ANTONIO COLLEGE MAY BE THE MOST ECONOMICAL PATH TO AN AMERICAN COLLEGE DEGREE!!
The ESOL program at SAC:
- Community college tuitions, like SAC's, are lower than university tuitions, and tuitions in Texas are lower than tuitions in most other states.
- Students who take their first two years of college classes at SAC can transfer to universities without taking any more admissions or placements test, including the TOEFL.
- SAC does not require TOEFL test scores for entrance into college classes.
Prepares students to enter into American College
- Classes focus on the academic listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar skills necessary for you to pass entrance and placement tests and to be successful in your college classes.
- Classes are rigorous and intensiv.
- Completion of the ESLProgram guarantees you entry into college classes at SAC and in many cases, subsequent automatic transfer to many four-year universities.
Provides for flexible scheduling
- Flex semesters allow you to finish the ESOL program in half the time.
- For less intensive study, you can attend classes only two or three days a week
- Evening classes allow you to complete the ESOL program at night
Offers a stimulating and rewarding academic environment
- Courses are stimulating and challenging, and students who finish the program are highly successful in college classes
- Students, who come from around the world, are highly motivated.
- There are campus organizations you can join, like the International Students Club, where you can establish lifelong friendships.
Provides highly qualified faculty
- All faculty have Masters and/or Ph.D. degrees from prestigious universities.
- Faculty average twenty years of teaching experience at the college or university level.
