Welcome to the homepage of John Trilling, Assistant Professor of ESOL at SAC. I have taught ESOL for the Alamo Community College District since 1998. I have also taught ESOL in Tucson, Arizona, Austin Texas and Quito, Ecuador. I received an M.Ed. in Multicultural Education from the University of Arizona and an M.A. from the University of Texas in San Antonio in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). In addition, I am a fellow from the Kellogg_Institute for Developmental Educators at the National Center of Developmental Education in Boone, North Carolina and received an exemplary qualification from Kellogg for my practicum about transitioning ESOL students to college-level courses. Additionally, I am interested in exploring international intiatives with colleagues from other countries.
