Get a TexShare library card

Currently enrolled SAC students, faculty, and staff can get a TexShare library card on campus at the 3rd floor Library Reserve Desk in the Moody Learning Center. You need to be in good standing, with no fines or overdue materials. (See: policy for more information)

A TexShare library card allows you to check out books at participating libraries all across Texas. Be sure to check on the lending policies for a library. Many libraries require not only the TexShare card but also a current college ID.

If you are unable to come to the SAC campus, know that many academic and public libraries in Texas participate in TexShare. So if you are enrolled at another Texas college or make regular visits to your local public library, be sure to ask about TexShare cards.
