Course Description:
Hands-on course exploring how you can use the Elluminate virtual classroom
to better reach and teach your distance education students.
Topics to be covered include:
Learn how to save time in teaching individuals or groups of students remotely
via live two-way voice and audio on the Internet. Promote active learning
and appeal to multiple learning styles by using polling, breakout rooms, whiteboard writing,
and application sharing. Share and work with any application remotely with students, such
as: MSWord, Powerpoint, CAD, Internet.
Performance-Based Objectives
- 1. Explore interactive features of the virtual classroom
- 2. Learn how to request a virtual classroom
- 3. Access the meeting room schedule and an archive recording of a session
- 4. Discuss how the virtual classroom addresses learning styles and needs
of both online instructors and students
