Internet Skills Center Fall Schedule

The Internet Skills Center (ISC) offers SAC students the following instructional modules:
- Module 1) READI Self Evaluation (required for students taking Online & Blended Courses)
SAC Online Students are required to complete the READI Self Evaluation to determine if SAC Online Courses are appropriate for them.
- Module 2) Online Course Readiness Module (required for students taking Online & Blended Courses)
SAC Online Students are required to complete Module 2, Online Course Readiness. Module 2 is designed to teach students how to take an online course successfully.
- Module 3) Web-based Research Skills
Our module will help SAC Online students enhance their web-based research skills.
- Module 4) Basic Computer Skills
Our module will help SAC Online students understand basic computer operations.
- Module 5) Basic Podcasting Tutorial
Our module will help SAC Online students understand basic Podcasting operations.
The lessons prepare students for online learning. The lab has 28 computer stations and is staffed with experienced computer technicians who facilitate the instructional modules for the students.
- Modules are free to SAC Online students.
- A SAC student ID is all that is required to take a Module.
- The Modules may be taken in any order.
- A student may call (210) 785-6105 or (210) 785-6106 to enroll, or attend as part of a class with an instructor who schedules a session with the ISC.
- SAC instructors are also encouraged to call (210) 785-6105 or (210) 785-6106 to schedule a time to bring their classes.
