Biographical Information
Conrad D. Krueger Sr. began his academic career as a full-time nontraditional student at San Antonio College at the age of 32. He obtained an Associate in Applied Science, and continued his education to obtain a Masters in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
In 1994, he joined the Mathematics department as a faculty member. During his tenure, he served as Evening and Adjunct Coordinator and the Department Chairperson for four years in each role. Also during this time, he served on and chaired numerous departmental, college, district, state, and national committees and panels.
Currently, Mr. Krueger is in the dissertation stage of completing a Doctorate degree in Higher Education Leadership from Texas A & M University at Corpus Christi. He enjoys fishing, going to the gym, jogging, and spending time with his family, which includes his wife, four children, and two grandchildren.

At the age of 32, Conrad Krueger came to San Antonio College as a non-traditional student after the American Can Company, the plant where he worked as a production mechanic, was shut down. He was about to have his fourth child. Six years later, in 1994 he came back to SAC with his master’s degree to teach math.
In addition to his instructional duties, he also served as the evening and adjunct programs coordinator for four years before serving an additional four years as Department Chair. He also chaired the Retention Task Force Committee that evolved into the Quality Enhancement Plan Committee.
