September 4, 2008
A San Antonio College student has made threats against a faculty member.
This has been reported in the local news.
Before the news reports, San Antonio College had taken and continues to take steps to protect the involved instructor and students, and to ensure the safety of all SAC students, faculty and staff.
San Antonio College President Zeigler has met with the instructor’s classes for discussion about the situation, and will meet with classes again on Friday.
The Legal Affairs and Police departments of the Alamo Community Colleges are taking appropriate legal actions to deal with the student.
Thank you.
