Every year, from fall to spring, at the
Visual Arts Center at San Antonio College, some Schools of Art will visit our department and hold portfolio day for our students. Reps from schools such as Kansas City Art Institute and School of the Art Institute of Chicago visit with students and review portfolios and work samples. School visits will be announced in classes as they develop. Inquire with your instructor or any full-time faculty member.

ABOUT PORTFOLIO DAY
Go to www.portfolioday.net for information on National Portfolio Day.
At San Antonio College, the Visual Arts Department, yearly since 1992, hosts local portfolio day events in the Visual Arts Center Gallery. Visits are held from prominent, Schools of Art from all over the U.S. School representatives conduct portfolio reviews for current college and high school students and provide information on the school, admissions, degrees offered, financial aid, scholarships and some include video presentations. Schools set up to visit with students in the Visual Arts Center Gallery, first floor.
These visits to SAC and the VATC are in addition to the general National Portfolio Day in Austin. Ask your instructor or listen and be on the lookout for announcements of schools visiting the SAC Visual Arts department.
