Resource Library

The Equity Center Resource Library (Norris Technical Building, room 106) provides information on parenting, personal development, and career readiness. Books, videotapes, and audiotapes are available for loan!

Textbook Loan

The Equity Center Textbook Program has a limited number of textbooks available to loan to students for the duration of the semester. Books must be returned to the Equity Center by the end of the semester or a fine will be assessed, and a hold will be placed on the student's record (barring any registration activity).

Stop by Norris Technical Building (NTB), room 108, the week before classes begin. Bring a list of books that you need (including title, author, and edition), your semester schedule, and student identification card.

Food Pantry

The Equity Center maintains a food pantry. Students in need may access the food pantry once per semester. When additional resources are needed, counselors connect the student to community resources. For assistance, call (210) 486-2633 or stop by NTB 108 for an appointment.

Transportation Assistance

Half-fare bus booklets are available, once per semester, for students facing a transportation crisis. Supplies are limited. Call (210) 486-2518 or stop by NTB 106 for information.

Need a VIA semester pass? A $35 value, it offers unlimited bus access for the semester. Donate 10 can goods or 3 boxed goods to the Equity Center's food pantry, and you will receive a free semester pass! Supplies are limited!
