Tutoring
The Tutoring Department is composed of approximately 40 subject matter
specialists in mathematics, English, accounting, electronics, biology, calculus,
physics, algebra, history, computer operations, and Spanish. We have both peer
and professional tutors. The Tutoring Department strives to create a sensitive
environment that is conducive to learning. We accomplish our mission of
assisting students to reach their academic goals through tutoring, laboratory
assistance, testing assistance, application of current technologies, and skills
remediation. Our lab is open to any student of the ACCD, as well as members of
the community.
