PRIMARY IMPACT:
Completes assigned tasks as requested.
DUTIES:*
1. Process/maintain records of student course additions/drops/withdrawals in the Student Information System.
2. Process name and social security number changes; process faculty assignments in student records system.
3. Enter student data/tracking survey forms on the student record system; follow up with students to obtain missing information.
4. Provide customer service to students/faculty/staff; offer information concerning college services and academic/registration procedures; verify enrollment status of current/previous students.
5. Provide data entry of student grades at end of each term.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of college admission requirements, application procedures, residency determination, course offerings, academic policies, organization of the college, department programs/locations, Student Information System software, CRT terminal operation/data processing, and general office equipment operation plus the Optical Disk System.
Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to concentrate on detailed projects during numerous interruptions.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EDUCATION
Minimum: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Preferred: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Three to six months.
Preferred: Six months to one year.
Specifically, the position requires a minimum of three months of clerical/office experience to include some experience with data entry/retrieval. Six months of experience or experience in admissions/records is preferred.
