PRIMARY IMPACT:

 

Completes assigned tasks as requested.

 

DUTIES:*

 

1.         Inspect classrooms to ensure lights, air conditioning/heat are on at beginning of class and off after classes end.  Document and report classroom cleanliness/neatness to supervisor.  May help restore classroom to proper order.

 

2.         Lock, unlock, secure classrooms and patrol hallways for ACCD classes.  May check student picture IDs.

 

3.         Follow guidelines/procedures/policies of the host organization.  Receive information from and/or contact Security as situations merit.

 

4.         Distribute/pick-up class roles, surveys, flyers, memos, etc.

 

5.         Reserve/deliver/pick-up audiovisual equipment; assist with operation/set-up and report broken/non-working equipment.  May be asked to replace broken equipment parts.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

 

Good knowledge of general office practices/procedures.  Basic knowledge of ACCD campuses.

 

Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Ability to follow oral/written directions/instructions; give accurate directions to other areas on base (i.e., buildings, classrooms, etc.); refer students/visitors to correct person/department.

Preferred:         Six months to one year.

 

Specifically, the position requires a minimum of three months of general office experience.
