PRIMARY IMPACT:
Provides standard administrative, technical, or production services or information that support others, and/or organizes data and information that is used and analyzed by others.
DUTIES:*
1. Operate the flyrail system for raising and lowering scenery, curtains, lights, and equipment.
2. Set up and place the microphones, microphone cables, and stands for events.
3. Set up and place the video and computer equipment for events.
4. Assist in the clean up and preparation of the stage, auditorium, and lobbies as needed before and after each event.
5. Assist light and sound technicians in the set-up of events.
6. Monitor the stage during events to assure safety compliance with regulations and policy.
7. Provide assistance with crowd control for events as needed.
8. Complete other tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of correct operation and loading of the stage counter-weight flyrail system; basic components and procedures in setting up microphones, video equipment, computer equipment, and scenic equipment; correct procedures for operating curtains; stage preparation procedures; evacuation procedures during emergencies.
Ability to work at heights exceeding 50 ft.; lift weight up to 40 lbs.; climb/work while on ladders; read/understand written/verbal instructions; follow instructions and work within the guidelines implemented by supervisors; adapt to the changing needs of clients and their productions.

Preferred: Three to six months.
Specifically, the position requires a month of related experience.
