PRIMARY IMPACT:

Completes assigned tasks as requested.

DUTIES:*

1. Oversee use of facilities during special events.

2. Show facilities to prospective clients; provide tours and information on rental/usage according to established policies.

3. Direct/delegate work to assistants; may assist with the setting up and tearing down of all special events.

4. Recruit, orient, and train assistants.

5. Inspect work performed to ensure building readiness; secure building after use.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Ability to learn/enforce facilities’ policies/procedures; communicate effectively; exercise important human relations skills; lift/carry up to 30 lbs.; push/pull/walk/bend/climb.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EDUCATION

Minimum: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).

Preferred: A formal training program after high school of approximately one year in duration.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum: Six months to one year.

Preferred: One to two years.

Specifically, the position requires six months of related experience.
