PRIMARY IMPACT:
Provides analytic/diagnostic services or uses highest level technical skills which noticeably affect work results.
DUTIES:*
1. Assist students in the lab by answering questions and demonstrating use of lab equipment.
2. Maintain, monitor, and prepare equipment and supplies.
a. Monitor/Prepare chemicals
b. Clean and calibrate equipment
c. Keep inventory records
3. Assist students in studio.
4. Answer phone and schedule lab assignments.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of photographic chemicals and processes.
Technical skill in applying all processes to direct application of commercial, portrait, and photojournalism skills; direct application of computer skills as related to photography.
Ability to teach photographic processes.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EDUCATION
Minimum: An Associate's degree or equivalent.
Preferred: An Associate's degree or equivalent.
Specifically, the position requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent in Photography OR two years of related photographic work experience can be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Three to four years.
Preferred: Three to four years.
Specifically, the position requires three years of work experience in photography in addition to any used to satisfy the education requirement above.
