PRIMARY IMPACT:

 

Provides standard administrative, technical, or production services or information that support others, and/or organizes data and information that is used and analyzed by others.

 

DUTIES:*

 

1.         Serve customers; deal with the public.

 

2.         Answer phones; take pledges.

 

3.         Enter pledge premiums into database; manage database; delete sold out items; notate paid items.

 

4.         Reconcile discrepancies in database.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

 

Knowledge of business software including Quickbooks; computer database software.  Knowledge of KSYM radio and staff and FCC rules preferred.

 

Ability to deal with the public and have physical stamina.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EDUCATION

 

Minimum:        A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).

 

Preferred:        A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).

 

Specifically, the position requires completion of Communications 1307, Communications 2303, and RTVB 1150 with a grade of C or better.

 

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

 

Minimum:        No experience necessary.

 

Preferred:        One to three months.

 

Specifically, the position requires incumbent to be a student in good standing and enrolled in at least 6 hours.  Must be an RTVB, Communications, or related major.
