PRIMARY IMPACT:
Provides standard administrative, technical, or production services or information that support others, and/or organizes data and information that is used and analyzed by others.
DUTIES:*
1. Rewrite, edit, and print public service announcements.
2. Compile quarterly program material; prepare printed report; prepare notifications.
3. Schedule public service announcements and weed outdated ones.
4. Participate in annual fund drive; answer telephones; data entry.
5. Collect and open mail; review public service announcement submissions for appropriateness.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.
Skills in print editing; computer word processing applications; organizational and verbal communication skills.
Ability to write for broadcasting and work with the general public.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EDUCATION
Minimum: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Preferred: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Specifically, the position requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus the completion of the following with a grade of C or better: COMM 1307, COMM 2303, RTVB 1150. Prefer completion of COMM 2339 with a grade of C or better.
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum: No experience necessary.
Preferred: Three to six months.
Specifically, the position requires the student to be in good academic standing, currently enrolled in at least 6 hours, and be an RTVB or COMM major.
