The
Community Education Centers were
established by the Alamo Community College District to serve
as a link between San Antonio and the ACCD colleges - Northeast
Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College,
St. Philip's College, and San Antonio College. Our
mission is to ensure the delivery of services in such a way
that our community's needs are met in the most efficient
and effective manner by creating partnerships with local
churches, community-based organizations, and Independent
School Districts.
Developed by the Office of
the Director of Student & Community Program Development,
the Community Education Centers are dedicated to the
elimination of barriers
that traditionally restrict access to college for students
from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
The Community Education
Centers are committed to helping students by providing
preliminary college enrollment assistance to prospective
and/or former students who are interested in attending any
of the ACCD colleges.
