A degree audit is an automated report that matches specific program requirements with courses that an individual student has completed and/or is enrolled in. The audit is intended to serve as a tool for both students and advisors in the academic admission, advisement and course registration processes. *ACCD degree audits are for students planning to complete a certificate, Associate and/or a two plus two program.  If your degree plan is not available via this interface or for more information, see your advisor or contact the admissions office of your ACCD college.

1)  Section 1 displays your student data.  Check to make sure that all of this information is correct.  Contact your college admissions office to correct any invalid information.

2)  The second part of Section 1 is a list of credit hours and GPA’s for classes taken and in progress from the various institutions you have attended.  These are the values that will be compared with your degree plan to determine which courses you will need to take to complete your desired degree.  Classes in progress will be evaluated as if they are passed.  Therefore, if you do not complete one of your courses in progress you will need to go back and complete that course.

Section 2 shows the requirements needed to complete your degree program.

3
)  GPA/Hours, Residency, and TASP requirements are explained.  These requirements are followed by a listing of required courses that you will need to complete at any colleges you plan on attending.

4)  Under TASP Requirements are listed the courses you still need to complete. These courses are listed by area of study.  So in the above example, this student needs to complete 3 hours of Social/Behavioral Science, 6-7 hours of Science, 33 hours of the Art-Core requirements, 6 hours of History, and 3 hours of Literature in addition to any GPA/HRS, Residency, and/or TASP requirements in order to complete his or her degree program.
*A number that appears next to the major's requirement title (ex. UTSA ART - Government Requirements 2) indicates that your degree plan has been updated.

Section 3 shows the courses that you have completed or are in the process of completing. Courses listed in this section will count toward your major and are a part of your degree plan. *Note: Courses in progress will be assessed as if they are completed.

Section 4 lists all other courses that you have completed or are in the process of completing. These courses do NOT count toward your major and are NOT a part of your degree plan. Most often these are repeat courses, courses not passed, and other non-applicable courses.
