Multiple College Scholarships

ACCD Endowed Scholarship (E)

ACORN Scholarship (E)(F)

ACCD Scholarship application is required with “ACORN scholarship indicated. Major: Occupational Therapy Criteria & Description: Student must be graduating or have graduated high school with at least a 2.0 GPA; were in the upper two-thirds of their graduating class; satisfactorily passed the TAKS; must be enrolling as a full-time student (12 hours or more) Deadline: one month prior to high school graduation or four months before intended semester, if already attending college. Award: $750 per semester

Alamo Chapter Federal Criminal Justice Scholarship (F)

Scholarship application is required. Major: Criminal Justice Criteria & Description: Students must be enrolling in their final semester in a 2 + 2 Transfer Program; must provide PROOF of registration at UTSA for the following semester in the Criminal Justice program as a full-time student; must maintain a minimum GPA of minimum 2.7; must demonstrate financial need; satisfactorily pass the SAT or ACT with a score sufficient for entry or completed a minimum of 30 credit hours at the community college with a GPA of 2.7; students may be full and part-time. Award: $500 per semester for full-time students and $250 for part-time students

Sequor/Challenge High School Scholarship (F)

Charles F. Sugarmen (P)

Greater KellyUSA Scholarship

The amount of each award is $1000.00 per year to be disbursed in the amount of $500.00 per semester. This scholarship starts in the Fall 2006 semester and may be renewed for up to a total of four successive semesters as long as all eligibility requirements continue to be met. Accounting Technology

Adelante Child Care Award (E)(F)

Application to the San Antonio College Women’s Center, or its successor, is required. Provides for Child Care awards for female students participating in one of the programs of the Women’s Center, or its successor, at San Antonio College. It is preferred, but not mandatory, that eligible students be enrolled in a math or science based major leading to a four-year degree where women make up less than 45% of the workforce (e.g. math, science, engineering, information technology, computer science, architecture, etc.). Occupational Technology majors are excluded. Criteria & Description: Recipients must have completed 12 credit hours of college study, have an earned minimum GPA of 2.5, demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled for a minimum of 9 credit hours during the Fall and/or Spring Semester, or 6 credit hours during any summer session. Deadline: Anytime. Awards depend on funding available. Award: Amount of each award depends on funds available and amount needed for child care. Awards are payable only to the Child Care Facility on behalf of the student recipient. Award recipients are determined by the San Antonio College Women’s Center, or its successor.

Established by the American Institute of Architects – San Antonio Chapter to assist students pursuing a degree and career in the field of architecture. Application to the San Antonio College Architecture Program Department is required. Major: Architecture. Criteria & Description: Full time student (enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours during regular semesters); have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours toward completion of a degree in architecture; minimum earned GPA of 3.0.
