ACCD Student Financial Services

 Mission

Our mission is to help you, the student, go to college, even if you and your family do not have the financial means to pay for it. The first step is to see how much you and your family can pay toward your education. That is why a federally designed and approved application is necessary which is called "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" (FAFSA).
Maps And Location
The information you provide on your application helps appropriate government assess your ability to pay. It also helps the government and each college of the Alamo Community College District determine a financial package to help you meet your needs. The Student Financial Services Offices at San Antonio College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip's College, and Northwest Vista College help eligible students obtain financial assistance to meet their college-related expenses.

The information provided on this web site will answer basic questions of the financial aid process and delivery system.

FAFSA on the Web
You can complete, submit, and track the FAFSA over the Web. Most importantly, your data is checked before it is transmitted to the processing center, so there's less chance of making an error.

FAFSA Pre-Application
If you wish to fill out a hardcopy prior to FAFSA on the Web.

For Your Information
For the academy school year, 2008-09, paper FAFSAs will no longer be available for bulk orders. If you wish to obtain a paper FAFSA, then you must call the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID
