Educator Preparation Program

The Educator Preparation Program (EPP) was created to assist individuals interested in exploring teaching careers in public education K-12, independent school districts, parochial, private, charter schools, and other stakeholders in education. EPP is an alternative to the traditional university certification programs, and is designed to meet the needs of individuals interested in non-traditional routes to teaching.

A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2.5 GPA
• A passing score on the Texas Higher assesses Education Assessment (THEA)
• A completed application for administration
