Faculty Laptop Program
Purpose: In response to faculty requests for greater flexibility and mobility in our computing environment, ACCD IT has setup a sub-working group under the Faculty Workstation Initiative to begin researching requirements and feasibility of a faculty laptop program. The purpose of this group is to analyze the impact and the effectiveness of a laptop program for the faculty here at the Alamo Community Colleges. This initiative aligns easily with the strategic direction of our institution. Faculty Laptop Program will allow enhanced use of appropriate technology to promote student success.
