  1. Who is eligible to purchase software FOR HOME USE under the Microsoft Campus Agreement?
    Regular full-time staff, faculty and adjunct faculty can request a copy of available software FOR HOME USE by completing the
    For Home Use Software Form
    and following instructions.

  1. Can I purchase more than one copy for home use?
    No. You are allowed to purchase one media kit per software release, for home use.

  1. On how many computers can I install the software I purchased?
    You are allowed TWO installations per software package. However, you may ONLY install the software on ONE computer.

  1. If I buy the wrong software, can I get it exchanged or refunded?
    Software that is unopened may be returned within 30 days for a refund. Be sure the software you are ordering is exactly what you want BEFORE opening the package. Software that is shrink-wrapped may not be returned if the shrink-wrap is removed. It is your responsibility to verify that you have received the correct software at the time of purchase.

  1. If I lose my CD-ROM, can I get another one? What if it's defective?
    No, only replacements for defective copies will be made by an even exchange within 30 days. Even exchanges will be granted on defective products ONLY. Any CD that are marked or damaged by the customer will be ineligible for exchange or refund.

  3. May I resell or give the media I obtained under the agreement to someone else?
    No. Neither the media nor any license may be resold. The licenses are not transferable to another person. You will be responsible to protect your license. Faculty/Staff will be advised to adhere to Alamo Colleges software licensing policies.

  1. Can we make duplicates of the CD Media?
    No, Employees of Alamo Colleges are advised not to make duplicate copies. Software licenses will be tracked by the Information Technology Services ’ Personnel.

  1. How long is this license active?
    Your license is only valid during the duration of the software agreement; also you must be employed with Alamo Colleges for your license to be active.

  1. Is documentation included with the CD media?
    No, documentation is not included with the CD media. However, Faculty and Staff can request a copy of our training material.

  1. Whom do I call for help if I have a problem or question?
    Contact Support Central at 210-485-0555 for any installation problems. Monthly training sessions will be offered to assist members in the use of the applications.
