Blackboard Vista goes live at Alamo Colleges!
After an intense period of pilot tests over the past year, Blackboard Vista our new online learning management system will go live Spring 2009. Alamo Colleges will offer over 1,940 course in Blackboard Vista during the Spring semester. If you are enrolled in an online or a blended course, please consult with your faculty and find out if your course is being taught using the Blackboard Vista Platform. Click here for more details. What is Blackboard Vista?
Blackboard Vista is Alamo College's supported Learning Management System. A web-based system, Blackboard Vista hosts online, hybrid, blended or web-enhanced courses that can be delivered at the college or from afar. The system facilitates delivery of course materials, communication tools, assessment tools and course management tools. Within this web site, students will find a variety of resources such as FAQ's, troubleshooting tips, login instructions and a collection of helpful resources for Blackboard Vista.

Students will have Alamo Access to their Blackboard Vista one week before the start of the semester.

How Do I Alamo Access Blackboard Vista?
Alamo Accessing your Blackboard Vista courses is not very hard, however, the system is not currently integrated with PALS. This can create some confusion as to how you Alamo Access the course. To help ensure that you are able to Alamo Access your courses, we've created a short overview that will walk you through the steps to Alamo Accessing your Blackboard Vista courses and navigating within it.
