Network Account (Active Directory)
The ACCD Computer Network is a critical IT resource. The network provides you access to eMail, Internet, and other key server based resources. When hired, employees are eligible to receive network access. An Active Directory account is created for you at the time of computer installation.Follow the procedures below to contact your College IT department or ACCD Information Technologies to receive a networked computer or to request access to the institution's network:
San Antonio College employees:
- Follow the steps to obtain the a User Account Form.
- go to http://sacweb.accd.edu/cit/
- click on SAC User Account
- print the form, fax to 785-6333 or drop off at FAC309
St. Philips College employees:
- Contact SPC helpdesk 531-4616 to request a computer or a network account.
- Helpdesk will send request form to client through email.
- Secretary/Client will complete form and email back to SPChdesk@mail.accd.edu
Palo Alto College employees:
- Access the following website to request a computer or a network account at Palo Alto College:
- go to http://www.accd.edu/pac/htm/FacultyStaff/
resources/forms/default.htm - Click on ICT Service Request Form, complete the form and submit the form online.
Northwest Vista College employees:
- Follow the steps to obtain the a User Account Form.
- go to http://www.accd.edu/nvc/areas/pe/it/default.htm
- call helpdesk at 348-2350
- email at nvchelp@mail.accd.edu
- Technology staff will verify user data and create a network account for use.
ACCD District employees:
- To request Network Access, District employees must submit an eRequest.
- Click eRequest on the top menu.
- Enter your User ID, then click 'Next'
- Enter or verify your personal information, then click 'Next'
- Click the 'PC Technical Support' box
- Click the drop-down menu, select 'Miscellaneous Requests', click 'Next'
- Under 'Description of Services,' request that a User Account be added to the computer and added to the network. Please include the Full Name of the individual that is assigned the computer, BLDG/Room, Special Requests (if applicable), and Special Hardware (if applicable).
- Scroll down to the Justification section and enter a justification (i.e. New Employee / Receipt of new workstation).
- Scroll down and Select a desired completion date
- Scroll down and click 'Send Request'
