Request Technology Equipment Guidelines
- ACCD Information Technologies department will participate in a consolidated computer equipment purchase program, a minimum of 3 times during a fiscal year. Employees will be required to complete an eRequest to request department's specific computer equipment needs.
- ACCD IT will also use the Desktop Replacement Database to identify computers that are older than 4 years and place them on a schedule for replacement.
- ACCD District Departments will be requested to complete an eRequest to request computer move, upgrade or equipment maintenance. ACCD IT staff will properly document the request and the completion of the work order.
- Department Budget Manager will be requested to complete an Asset Transfer form to notify ACCD Inventory Control on computer moves, equipment retirement or equipment disposal.
Computer Equipment Request Procedure:
- Click eRequest on the top menu.
- Enter your Userid, then click 'Next'
- Enter or verify your personal information, then click 'Next'
- Click the 'PC Technical Support' box
- Click the drop-down menu and select 'Request to purchase computer equipment, printer, & laptop', click 'Next'
- 'Description of Services' will display, fill in the requested information.
- Scroll down to the Justification section and enter a justification.
- Scroll down and Select a desired completion date
- Scroll down and click 'Send Request'
