Dr. Thomas S. Cleary is The Alamo Colleges’ Vice Chancellor for Planning, Performance and Information Systems.
Dr. Cleary clearly possesses the skills and leadership ability that will be a tremendous asset to The Alamo Colleges’ in reaching our goal of becoming the best community college in the nation.
Cleary holds B.S., M.B.A., M.S., and Ed.D. degrees, as well as a certificate from the Institute of Executive Management at Harvard University. He is an active member of the American Association of Community Colleges, Society of College and University Planners, Council for Resource Development, Florida Association of Community Colleges and Association for Institutional Research.
Cleary’s areas of expertise include strategic planning, assessment, accreditation, computer systems management, accountability measures, and institutional research.
He is the author of numerous articles, has over ten years of community college teaching experience, and regularly consults with post-secondary institutions on issues related to planning, accountability, analytics, and accreditation.
He has been active within his community, serving with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Rotary Club, Sarasota’s Economic Development Corporation and the Program Advisory Board of Argosy University.
