Biography

Linda O'Nave
District Director of Acquisitions and Administrative Services ........................................................................................

Linda is a native San Antonian and has served the Alamo Community College District for thirty eight (38) years as both a college and district employee. Thirteen years were spent at San Antonio College in the Learning Resource Center, Philosophy Department, Counseling Center and College President's Office.

In 1980 she was selected as ACCD's first Director of Purchasing and was the first woman to be appointed to a position of district administrator. Since that time she has held the positions of Director of Procurement and Materiel Management and Director of Acquisitions and Administrative Services.

Linda is a graduate of both San Antonio College and the University of Incarnate Word. She has been a member of the National Association of Purchasing Managers, the National Association of Educational Buyers, the National Association of Realtors and currently serves on the State Advisory Board for Procurement.
