Charles J. "Charlie" Conner was elected as the District 7 Trustee in June 2002. As a resident of San Antonio for over 20 years, he has served on dozens of community boards and commissions. He served as Vice-Chair of the Unified Development Code Committee and is currently serving as a member of the Land Development Services Committee and the County Wide Citizens Watershed Master Plan Committee. He also served as chairman of a north side neighborhood association and board member of the Neighborhood Resource Center.Mr. Conner was a business owner for 35 years. Until 2001, he owned and operated Conner-Legrand, Inc., a commercial building material sales representative organization with offices in San Antonio, Dallas and Houston.Mr. Conner studied business administration at the University of Houston and University of Texas at Austin.
