Student Awarded Les Dames d'Escoffier Scholarship

Tourism,
Hospitality & Culinary Arts student Norma Jean
Rose has enjoyed a most fruitful year. First, she
was selected to participate in the Walt Disney World
College Program as an intern last fall. Then she followed
that up by winning the Disney Dream Higher Award,
acknowledging her local recruitment efforts on behalf
of the Disney College Program. And now, Rose has been
awarded a $500 Lenny Angel scholarship from the San
Antonio Chapter of the Les Dames d'Escoffier. The
group is an international organization of women leaders
who create a supportive culture in their communities
to achieve excellence in the food, beverage and hospitality
professions.
