New Titan-Banner System Goes Live September 1st


August 30, 2005

The Alamo Community College District's new online data management system, known as the Banner System, will go live beginning Sept.1, 2005. Banner replaces all of the college district's core administrative systems (finance, human resources, student records and financial aid) under one integrated, Internet-native system that is designed to be more efficient and effective while allowing the colleges of the ACCD to better meet the needs of growing student populations as well as faculty and staff.

The Banner System implementation is part of the Titan (Transforming Information Technology Access Now) Project. To ease the transition from Advantage to Banner, a safety net has been established to support faculty and staff. This includes the following helpful Banner tools:
