How to Become ASE Certified

The
St. Philip’s College Automotive Technology Program
will present a free seminar on how automotive technicians
can become ASE certified, Monday, Sept. 12, from 6
to 9 p.m. in the Heritage Room on the main campus
(1801 Martin Luther King Drive). ASE Certification,
granted by the National Institute for Automotive Service
Excellence, is the industry standard for quality among
automotive professionals.
The
seminar will be presented in both English and Spanish
and will cover information on preparing and testing
for ASE certification, including important dates for
registration and test preparation as well as information
on bilingual training materials now available to Spanish-speaking
technicians. More information is available by calling

St.
Philip’s College offers a comprehensive, multi-level
automotive technology training program that has been
rated as exemplary by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating
Board. The program trains students for careers in
the automotive industry and prepares them to pass
the various levels of ASE Certification. Through partnerships
with industry leaders, St. Philip’s College
