Phi Theta Kappa Welcomes New Members at SPC

Revis Bell, assistant professor and computer science program coordinator, welcomed 76 new members inducted into the Psi Kappa Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa international honor society at St. Philip’s College. An induction ceremony was held recently during Honors Week.

Bell, who serves as Phi Theta Kappa advisor, says that the chapter reported more 102 members in 2004. Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 1.3 million members and 1100 chapters located in 50 United States, U.S. territories, Canada, Germany, and Japan.
