Grand opening of the ACCD’s Northeast Lakeview College’s new Northeast Campus Held Today

WHAT: Grand opening of the ACCD’s Northeast Lakeview College’s new Northeast Campus

WHO: State Senator Jeff Wentworth, Live Oak Mayor Henry Edwards (host community), Converse Mayor Craig Martin (representing the Northeast Partnership), Cedric Edwards, chairman of the Randolph Metrocom Chamber of Commerce, John Williams, president of the Randolph Metro-com Chamber of Commerce, ACCD Board of Trustees Chair Roberto Zarate, ACCD District 9 Trustee James Rindfuss, ACCD Interim Chancellor Dr. Daniel Derrico and Northeast Lakeview College President Dr. Eric Reno, plus two Northeast Campus student speakers

WHEN: Friday, September 15, 2006, 3-5 p.m. (Program will begin at 3:30 p.m.) WHERE: Northeast Lakeview College Northeast Campus, 8300 Pat Booker Road (at the corner of Pat Booker Road and Loop 1604 East)

WHY: To provide the community with an opportunity to see the new facility where Northeast Lakeview College, the district’s soon-to-be newest college, is currently offering classes while the college campus is under construction

Tours of the facility for the public and the media will be conducted after the grand opening program and ribbon cutting ceremony.

NOTE: Parking is allowed ONLY in the ACCD designated parking places. Shuttle service will be provided for overflow parking.
