Dr. Sharla Jones, Instructor in the English
as a Second Language (ESL) program
at Northwest Vista College

Dr. Sharla Jones, Instructor in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program at Northwest Vista College (NVC), was recently awarded the TexTESOL (Texas Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) award at a conference held in Austin, Texas. Dr. Jones was recognized for her contributions to the English Second Language field in teaching, learning, program design, curriculum, and instructional development.
