San Antonio College is partnering with AchieveGlobal to offer The Service Difference, a customer service training program that can be customized to meet the needs of local businesses.

"The Service Difference helps organizations create an authentic human connection in service interactions," said Joanna Grogan, Director of the Center for Professional Development at San Antonio College.

Grogan said, "Through classroom-based training sessions, employees will learn critical customer service skills," and added that the training will help businesses "to leverage the enhanced business value and benefits that outstanding customer service brings."

AchieveGlobal, the world's leading provider of performance skills training and consulting, often collaborates with education and economic partners like San Antonio College. "We've had excellent success with other colleges and universities who have offered The Service Difference to local clients," said Greg Watson, of AchieveGlobal.

The Service Difference includes seven classroom-based modules, each about 3-4 hours in length: Reaching for Stellar Service, Connecting with Customers, Guiding Customer Conversations, Healing the Customer Relationship, Serving a World of Customers, Meeting Unspoken Customer Needs, and Resolving Issues that Impact the Customer.

The Service Difference is available now. For more information, contact Joanna Grogan at 210-733-2647 or jgrogan@accd.edu.
